Softball Recap: Elbert County's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Elbert County's win against Rabun County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils skirted past the Wildcats 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Elbert County's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Rabun County, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Elbert County will welcome Banks County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rabun County, they will venture away from home to take on Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.89 runs per game on average), something Rabun County will no doubt try to take advantage of.
