Soccer Recap: King Triumphs

In Friday's Canine Competition, King prevailed. They never let the Centennial Huskies onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday. Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Jordan Akparanta and Isabella Laramie scored both of King's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

King's win bumped their record up to 9-6-3. As for Centennial, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6-2 record this season.

King didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Roosevelt on the 21st. Centennial has also already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Santiago on the 21st.
