Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilson). Their defense stepped up to hand the Montebello Oilers a 6-0 shutout on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats who have now won three contests in a row.

Wilson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five games. As for Montebello, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-3.

Wilson will be home for the holidays to greet Los Altos at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Montebello, they will be taking part in a tournament against Riverside Prep at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
