Central Christian strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Stafford Trojans 62-0. The Cougars' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Central Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Eigsti, who rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 104 yards and one TD while completing 75% of his passes. What's more, Eigsti racked up 156.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Piercen Huff was another major influence, as he rushed for 105 yards and ran in a TD.

Central Christian's run defense was locked in: Stafford could only muster 2.6 yards per carry. While three picked up at least five total tackles, Eigsti stood above the rest. He rushed for 94 yards and three scores on only six carries, and also threw for 104 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Central Christian didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 16.5.

Central Christian's record is now 3-0. As for Stafford, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
