Basketball Recap: Casa Grande Takes a Loss

Casa Grande lost against Justin-Siena back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Casa Grande Gauchos were outmatched by the Justin-Siena Braves and fell 51-9. The contest marked the Gauchos' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

It was another big night for Jordan WASHINGTON, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds for Justin-Siena. WASHINGTON is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Zapolski, who posted ten points.

Casa Grande's loss dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Justin-Siena, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Casa Grande does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Justin-Siena, they will challenge American Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. American Canyon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season.
