Football Game Preview: Kinsley Coyotes vs. Sublette Larks

Two dominant signal callers in Josh Stuckey and Drake Webber are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Kinsley Coyotes will head out to square off against the Sublette Larks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kinsley is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Meade on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Coyotes came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 54-30. The contest marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kinsley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Stuckey.

Meanwhile, Sublette humbled South Gray with a 50-22 victory. The result was nothing new for the Larks, who have now won four games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Sublette's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Kinsley, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Kinsley against Sublette when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 54-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
