Volleyball Recap: Shelbyville Takes a Loss

Shelbyville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the West Rusk Raiders. If the Dragons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12.

Shelbyville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Rusk, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-7.

Shelbyville has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chapel Hill on the 21st. As for West Rusk, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Carlisle on the 21st.
