Football Game Preview: Century Panthers vs. Northfield Raiders + Official Tickets

Century hasn't had much luck against Northfield recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Century came up short against New Prague and fell 31-20.

Meanwhile, Northfield won against New Prague last Friday with 28 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Raiders beat Owatonna by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 28-7. Considering the Raiders have won four matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Northfield and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Century, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Century came up short against Northfield in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 23-19. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
