Baseball Recap: Appleton East Takes a Loss

Appleton East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-4 to the Oshkosh West Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on May 5th.

Appleton East's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Oshkosh West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-12.

Coming up, Appleton East will take on Neenah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oshkosh West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
