Basketball Recap: Penn Hills Wins Going Away Against Armstrong

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin Regional, Penn Hills was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Armstrong River Hawks 44-26. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-38 back in December of 2024.

Penn Hills' win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Armstrong, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Penn Hills will host Shaler Area at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shaler Area will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Penn Hills surely won't give up without a fight. As for Armstrong, they will venture away from home to square off against Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Armstrong is facing Gateway at the right time seeing as Gateway is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
