Basketball Recap: Western Wayne Comes Up Short

Western Wayne lost against Holy Cross back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Western Wayne Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 36-35 to the Holy Cross Crusaders.

Western Wayne has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Holy Cross, their record now sits at 6-7.

Western Wayne will face off against Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Cross has already played their next matchup (against Honesdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
