Football Recap: LaCrosse Takes a Loss

LaCrosse fell victim to Trego and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Leopards have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Trego's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Conness led the charge by rushing for 45 yards and a pair of TDs. Conness didn't just play on offense: he also made 15 total tackles (0.5 for loss) and defended one pass. Ashton Wynn also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

LaCrosse now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Trego, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
