Soccer Game Preview: Weston Ranch vs. Twelve Bridges

The Weston Ranch Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Weston Ranch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Venture Academy by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges hasn't lost a match since January 16th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Del Campo 2-1. Given the Raging Rhinos' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Cougars are ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Isa Rivera and Yulisa Reyes scored both of Twelve Bridges' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Twelve Bridges has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Weston Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
