Recap: Manteca Buffaloes vs. El Camino Eagles        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, the Manteca Buffaloes rose to the challenge  on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy  46-29 win over the Eagles. Given Manteca's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 159th, while El Camino is ranked 531st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Jada Ikharo, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 12  rebounds. She hasn't dropped below three  steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Michailla Springs, who  scored 13 points along with five  rebounds.
 Despite the  defeat, El Camino had strong showings from  Noelle Potratz, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds, and  Calista Wold, who  scored seven points along with six  steals. Potratz is crushing the  block category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.  Kiena Thomas was another key contributor,  scoring two points along with six  rebounds.
 El Camino  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only three  offensive rebounds. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Manteca  pulled down 13  offensive rebounds.
 Manteca has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 15 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record  this season. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-14.
 Manteca will face off against Kimball at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Manteca focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 on Wednesday. El Camino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
