Le Mars had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Sioux City North Stars. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Le Mars' win bumped their record up to 27-9. As for Sioux City North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.
