Paulding County had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Hiram on Wednesday. Everything went the Paulding County Patriots' way against the Hiram Hornets as the Paulding County Patriots made off with an 11-1 win. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Hudson McEntyre was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Garrett, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Paulding County's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for Hiram, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Paulding County and Hiram's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Paulding County will face off against Bremen at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday, a squad that's only allowed 3.86 runs per game. Meanwhile, Hiram and McEachern (who has only given up two runs per game) will meet at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
