Basketball Recap: Basis Independent Silicon Valley Comes Up Short

Basis Independent Silicon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 67-27 defeat at the hands of the Design Tech Dragons. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-5.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Eesha Muttineni and Rinisha Golani. Muttineni posted ten points, while Golani scored seven points.

It was another big night for Jewel Wilson, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine boards for Design Tech. Eve Casile was another key player, going 6-for-13 on her way to 14 points.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Design Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Design Tech, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-30 win against San Lorenzo Valley on the 21st.
