Basketball Recap: Woodrow Wilson Comes Up Short

Woodrow Wilson lost against Jordan back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Woodrow Wilson Bruins took a hard 62-46 fall against the Jordan Panthers. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Jordan to victory were Janiah Lorn and Jah'Asharee Moore. Lorn dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards, while Moore dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Lorn is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Diamond Toomalatai was another key player, putting up ten points.

Woodrow Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Jordan, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9.

Woodrow Wilson has already played their next game (against Cabrillo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jordan will challenge Lakewood at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakewood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.
