Recap: Hill School Rams vs. Pennington Red Raiders
The Hill School Rams are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Pennington Red Raiders. Hill School slipped by Pennington 59-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Hill School to victory were Lily Soller and Sammie Faella. Soller scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Faella scored 22 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lilly Hebert, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Hill School and bumps their season record up to 8-11. As for Pennington, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Hill School will be playing at home against Lawrenceville School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pennington will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Stuart Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
