Basketball Game Preview: Alameda Hornets vs. Bishop O'Dowd Dragons

Alameda is 0-10 against Bishop O'Dowd since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Alameda Hornets will face off against the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Alameda is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They breezed past San Marin to the tune of 67-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Meanwhile, Bishop O'Dowd was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past American 72-33.

Bishop O'Dowd is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Alameda, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.

Alameda might still be hurting after the 78-52 loss they got from Bishop O'Dowd when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Alameda avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
