Baseball Game Preview: Hearts Academy Panthers vs. Praise Academy Lions

For the first time this season, Hearts Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Hearts Academy Panthers face off against Praise Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Hearts Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Central Christian, taking the game 9-6.

Meanwhile, Praise Academy lost 16-4 to Central Christian on Tuesday.

Praise Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cap Cheshire, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another was Chase Hayward, who scored a run and stole a base.

Hearts Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Praise Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Praise Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hearts Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321.
