Softball Recap: Gross Catholic Takes a Loss

Gross Catholic fell victim to Ralston and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Alexis Skradski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.

Gross Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Ralston, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Gross Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Ashland-Greenwood on the 13th. As for Ralston, they have also already played their next game, a 9-2 victory against Pius X on the 13th.
