Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winfield). Everything went their way against the Canton Tigers on Monday as they made off with a 5-1 win. Winfield haven't had any issues with Canton recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Winfield hit Canton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from William Gnade (2), Nicholas Gebert, Cooper Brown, and Luke White.

Winfield's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Winfield will take on Holt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Winfield their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Canton, they will face off against Missouri Military Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canton will need to watch out since Missouri Military Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches.
