Basketball Game Preview: Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders vs. Morgantown Christian Academy Mustangs

The Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders and the Morgantown Christian Academy Mustangs will face off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Greater Beckley Christian earned a 55-43 win over Calvary Baptist Academy. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Greater Beckley Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Adkins out in front who posted 22 points and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Adkins has scored at least a third of Greater Beckley Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destyni Farrish, who had 16 points.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Morgantown Christian Academy sidestepped Wood County Christian for a 46-44 victory.

Morgantown Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.8 points. Greater Beckley Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-10.
