Football Game Preview: Platt Panthers vs. Simsbury Trojans + How To Watch

Platt is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will welcome the Simsbury Trojans at 6:30 p.m.

Platt is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Guilford just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to the Grizzlies at home by a 34-20 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Simsbury). They strolled past East Hartford with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 42-28.

Platt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Simsbury, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Platt barely slipped by Simsbury in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 21-20. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
