            Softball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors vs. Trion Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Trion. They came up short against  the Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling  12-3. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.
 Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jorja Fox, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.  Hope Alexander was another,  going 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Trion, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season.

The Phoenix's pitching crew has only allowed 1.2  runs per game  this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Trion, they will welcome Rome  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.27  runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
