Turlock Christian was handed a 26-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Big Valley Christian 37-35. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Turlock Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Payslie Porter, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 16 boards. Porter continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mariana Montes, who posted seven points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.

Turlock Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Stockton Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The matchup between the Eagles and Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 45-28.

Stockton Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Turlock Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
