While Bryan's win against Southview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cougars 10-9. That's two games straight that the Golden Bears have won by just one run.

Bryan has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.1 runs over those games. As for Southview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Bryan will venture away from home to challenge Fairview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southview, they will welcome Perrysburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellow Jackets have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
