Soccer Recap: Rutland Comes Up Short

Rutland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Warner Robins Demons, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Rutland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Warner Robins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Rutland will square off against Macon County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warner Robins, they will host Crisp County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crisp County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Warner Robins surely won't give up without a fight.
