Pee Dee Academy had won three straight games and Miles Wiggins did his part to make it four on Friday. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Lee Academy Cavaliers with a sharp 62-36 victory thanks in part to Wiggins, who rushed for 180 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 36 yards and one touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.

Pee Dee Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lee Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Pee Dee Academy will face off against Bethesda Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blazers' defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so the Golden Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lee Academy, they will host St. John's Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
