Baseball Recap: Crestline Takes a Loss

Crestline lost to Loudonville back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Redbirds by a score of 4-3.

Weston Clark was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Clark was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Clark wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Quentin Kapp, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another was Brendon Ronk, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Crestline's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Loudonville, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-21.

Coming up, Crestline will square off against Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Loudonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
