Volleyball Recap: Kalamazoo Christian Comes Up Short

Kalamazoo Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Portage Central Mustangs. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While Kalamazoo Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-24.

Kalamazoo Christian's loss dropped their record down to 22-13-3. As for Portage Central, their win bumped their record up to 19-20.

Kalamazoo Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mattawan on the 18th. As for Portage Central, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bronson on the 18th.
