Baseball Recap: Wheeler Takes a Loss

Wheeler fell victim to Walton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Walton Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Wheeler's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Walton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

While Wheeler had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
