Maine West came into Friday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs on Friday. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Dominic Parcelli made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Julian Delao and Tim Wiley did most of the damage at the plate: Delao scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Wiley scored a run while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs Delao has posted since back in March of 2024. Tommy Kulesza was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Maine West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Maine West's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
