Baseball Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

Harding managed to slip by Bassick the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Presidents came up short against the Lions on Tuesday, falling 11-5. The Presidents have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Bassick, they moved to 2-15 with that victory, which also ended their 13-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Harding and Bassick will both be playing Bridgeport Central the next time they take the field. The Lions will host the Hilltoppers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Presidents will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
