Football Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast lost against Oswego back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings were beaten by the Indians 74-28. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-28.

Northeast has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Oswego, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Northeast will take on West Elk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oswego, they will head out to square off against Cedar Vale/Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
