Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sylmar walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on five straight.

Sylmar's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Larchmont Charter, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-8.

Sylmar didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Vista del Lago on the 4th. Larchmont Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
