Blanchard never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cushing Tigers with a sharp 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Blanchard's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Cushing, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
