Colfax and Wheatland combined for 18 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive eight total goals scored. The Colfax Falcons were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over the Wheatland Pirates. Considering the Falcons have won 11 matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Wheatland from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

The win made it two in a row for Colfax and bumps their season record up to 15-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 4-14-3 Wheatland and 6-15 Marysville. As for Wheatland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Colfax will square off against Oakmont at 12:00 p.m. on February 8th. Oakmont will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Colfax surely won't give up without a fight.
