West Campus picks up 11th straight win at home

Recap: West Campus Warriors vs. Florin Panthers

The West Campus Warriors stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Florin 60-15 at home. With that win, West Campus brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Leilani Edinburgh continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with eight assists and six steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Loismary Justice was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Florin struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as West Campus posted 19 assists.

West Campus' win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-6. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.6 points. As for Florin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Campus has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1113th, while the Warriors are ranked 345th). As for Florin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cordova is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
