Soccer Recap: Genoa Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Genoa Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Cowboys. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Genoa Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Genoa Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Genoa Christian Academy will take on Hamilton Township at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for West, they will venture away from home to challenge Columbus International at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th.
