Veterans had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lee County Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Warhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

David Drake and Brady Bourke scored all three of Veterans' goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Veterans' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four contests.
