Lafayette came out on top against Aucilla Christian on Saturday thanks in part to Garrett Taylor's efforts. Taylor scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Taylor and Lafayette will challenge Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets are 8-2 against the Fighting Tigers going back to April of 2024, a lead they'll look to extend.
