Soccer Recap: Pella Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Branch on Tuesday, Pella Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the West Central Valley Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Central Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in April.

Pella Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-2. As for West Central Valley, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Pella Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Central Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Hudson on Monday. Hudson will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something West Central Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
