Soccer Game Preview: Lynbrook vs. MacDonald

The Lynbrook Vikings will square off against the MacDonald Condor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Lynbrook turned things around against Monta Vista on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Matadors out 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Vikings were the better team in the second half.

They hit Monta Vista with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Ford, Sandhya Kumar, and Zoe Chung.

Meanwhile, MacDonald has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 17. They and Milpitas finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Condor as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

MacDonald's draw gives them a new season record of 1-9-2. As for Lynbrook, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7-2.

Lynbrook beat MacDonald by a goal in their previous matchup on January 7th, winning 3-2. Does Lynbrook have another victory up their sleeve, or will MacDonald turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
