Soccer Recap: South Pasadena Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against San Marino

There's no place like home for South Pasadena, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They beat the San Marino Titans by a goal, winning 1-0. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Kaia Trainedes, who's now up to five this season.

The win got South Pasadena back to even at 5-5-1. As for San Marino, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

South Pasadena's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for San Marino, they will face off against La Canada at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. La Canada is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
