Baseball Recap: Sonoraville Takes a Loss

Sonoraville and Columbus squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Sonoraville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 5-4. The Phoenix were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Devils earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Sonoraville's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-23. As for Columbus, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Sonoraville nor Columbus have any future games scheduled.
