Softball Recap: Monticello Sets Scoring Season-High Against North Fayette Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monticello). They were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over North Fayette Valley on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Monticello's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for North Fayette Valley, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-8.

Monticello has already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Crestwood on the 14th. As for North Fayette Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-1 loss against Don Bosco on the 14th.
