Baseball Recap: Lee County Comes Up Short

Lee County and Habersham Central squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lee County had to settle for second. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on Wednesday.

Weston Bryan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Lee County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-12 record this season. As for Habersham Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Lee County nor Habersham Central have any future games scheduled.
