Flowers extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Kodi Gardner. The Jaguars really took it to the Potomac Wolverines for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-7 victory with plenty of help from Gardner, who rushed for 184 yards and four scores while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.

One reason for the win was Flowers' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Tyger Williams was especially locked on to Potomac's QB and sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Wolverines' side was Gabriel Amadi, who picked up a sack, forced two fumbles, and made four total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Flowers' record now sits at 8-0. As for Potomac, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Flowers has already played their next contest, a 42-0 win against Suitland on the 1st. As for Potomac, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 63-0 victory against Bladensburg on the 1st.
